I am Linda Collas and my business is Virtual Assistant Stoke. I also have my team of Virtual Receptionists who are available to answer my client’s telephone calls.


I spent many years working in an administrative role in a busy office. Here I acted as PA to different levels of management and was also Workplace coach. In the past I have worked in retail management selling everything from sandwiches to high quality collector’s items. I also have experience in running a successful property investment and rental business. When my employers were restructuring and relocating I decided I did not want a long daily commute so realised this was my opportunity to use all of my skills for my own business. I had a few ideas but was unsure which route to take. I took some courses about setting up a business and it was there that I gained my inspiration. Some of the other entrepreneurs had some great ideas to make money but did not enjoy all the administration that needed to be done. I wanted to do the things I was good at, and knew I could help them and so Virtual Assistant Stoke was born.


I now work from my office to help other small business owners and entrepreneurs to save time and money by undertaking their administrative tasks and back office work whilst they concentrate on profit making. One service I thought would be valuable to my clients is telephone answering. If they missed their calls they could be missing business. If they answered all of their own calls they were distracted from making money. I then realised that if I answered these calls for them I would be in exactly the same situation. For this reason I joined up with my team of virtual receptionists. My clients can now concentrate on their business and I can give my full attention to the tasks and projects I am assigned. The Virtual Receptionists can answer the phone as often as required using my clients name and they even work 24 / 7.


As you can probably guess, I am based in Stoke on Trent. As a virtual service I can find myself working for clients in anywhere in the country (or even the world!) as well as in my local area.
